Two years ago, solar panels were installed on our factory roof, and they are already making a big difference, both for the environment and for our operations. In just one year, we produce 112,000 kWh of electricity directly from the sun. That equals driving one of our electric cars 15 times around the world, or keeping a 7-watt lightbulb shining non-stop for over 1,800 years, all the way to the year 3850!<\/p>\n
Thanks to the solar panels, we can now cover 35% of our total electricity consumption ourselves, which in practice means that every third piece of furniture we manufacture is already powered by renewable energy from our own roof. This reduces our dependence on purchased electricity, strengthens our sustainability efforts, and shows that it is possible to combine Swedish craftsmanship with smart energy.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
