Linnaeus University Växjö - The small auditorium
Finished 2011
We furnished Lilla Hörsalen at Linnaeus University for 57 seats with KS-401. The chairs are here mounted in straight rows with handrails in solid birch. The metal is powder coated in dark gray and all wood is in lacquered birch plywood and solid birch. The chairs are equipped with a writing tablet with high-pressure laminate in the surface. The chairs are upholstered with CMHR-tested cold foam and with fabric in three shades. The underside of the seat is perforated, which gives the room extra sound absorption. The seat folds down with the help of built-in counterweights, stops against rubber-coated metal heels and has cushioning fittings when sitting in the chair. The hall has a front panel for writing tablets for the front row. The architect is Eva Kellander.
