Caroline Olsson

Caroline Olsson is an interior architect who works across boundaries in interior architecture, pattern, and furniture design. Her design is rooted in the hand-drawn expression and the creative power of the hand. Consequently, material selection and detailing are crucial factors in her work.

Her furniture plays with the scale of the room in relation to volumes and colors. She aims to bring energy to the rooms, open up, and widen the limitations of the space.

Caroline Olsson holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from Konstfack and a Master of Architecture from Lunds Tekniska Högskola. She has been running Caroline Olsson Arkitektur & Design since 2009. Projects she has worked on include Bobergsskolan, from which the table Drake emerged. Drake is designed to facilitate dynamic teaching as it can be arranged in groups in many different ways, and it is also stackable.
